Jen Hatmaker Stands with Safehome Domestic Violence Agency

Overland Park, KS. – July 28, 2020 – Safehome is pleased to announce that New York Times Bestselling author Jen Hatmaker will be joining Safehome for our third annual Write Your Story event on August 6th, 2020. This year, the event takes on a new face and will be hosted virtually, marking Safehome’s first-ever virtual event! Serving as a celebration of all things brave, Write Your Story with Jen Hatmaker is intended to empower and leave the audience inspired to share their own story. This event is a vital fundraising source for our organization. As the domestic violence survivors we serve are some of those that have been most affected by the fallout of COVID19, we need the support of the community now more than ever. We are so grateful that Jen Hatmaker is coming on board to stand with Safehome. 

The funds raised from this event will make a difference in the lives of the survivors we serve. $0.91 of every $1.00 donated to our organization goes to direct client care.

JEN HATMAKER is the author of the New York Times bestseller “Fierce, Free, and Full of Fire: The Guide to Being Glorious You” along with eleven other books, the happy host of the award-winning For the Love Podcast, delighted curator of the Jen Hatmaker Book Club, and a sought-after speaker who tours the country every year speaking to women.
