SAFEHOME has unpaid internship opportunities for people interested in pursuing professional careers in social services and development. Interns will have the opportunity to work side-by-side with SAFEHOME staff to learn from their professional experience. Staff will also work with students to meet internship requirements for college credit.
1. Clinical Intern
This unpaid internship opportunity is available to begin in March 2013 or August 2013, with a minimum nine month commitment. The intern will provide individual, family and group therapy for victims of domestic violence and their children. The intern will be supervised by a licensed therapist from the SAFEHOME Clinical Department. This internship requires 15-25 hours of work per week.

2. Volunteer Management Intern
This unpaid internship opportunity is available mid-May to mid-August 2013. The intern will It will include working with fundraising event committees and SAFEHOME staff members under supervision of the Volunteer Manager. This internship requires 10-15 hours of work per week.
